An Insider Account: Breaking the NFL Noise Record at Arrowhead Stadium

Unknown

In October, the Chiefs broke the noise record for loudest stadium in the NFL. Here are the facts. The Seattle Seahawks had stolen this record from Arrowhead and the Chiefs in a game against the 49ers. Kansas City wanted it back. They tried very hard and got it.

How did they do it? First, they tried for the record against their top rival, the awful Oakland Raiders. Second, they tried in warm weather. Third, they made fans want to break it with a video mocking the way Arrowhead was built.

Can they keep it? The odds are pretty good because they have some of the best fans in the NFL. However, one risk is new stadiums. Cities like Seattle want this record. Seattle also could try again. They are 10-1 and definitely will have a playoff game at CenturyLink Field.

It was a great day to be a Chiefs fan! We won the game. We set the record. We made history. Most of all, we made the Raiders “see red.” MAKE SOME NOISE!
